Siobhan has over 17 years’ experience in impact investing, private sector and international development. Siobhan has in-depth experience and knowledge of working within investment funds, and in investing in Sub Saharan Africa. She has developed and implemented IMM and ESG strategies and policies from high level development to embedding practices and policies at enterprise level. Siobhan has extensive experience in developing and working on impactful climate and gender smart projects and investments. Siobhan has developed a robust understanding and implementation skill set in technical assistance interventions designed to address market failures.  Siobhan brings an innovative lens to problem solving to deliver market and stakeholder appropriate solutions. Siobhan’s international network is invaluable and provides a wealth of experience from which to draw thought leadership.

CHINTAL BAROT

Private Sector Development (PSD), Gender and Climate Smart Expert

Chintal Barot has over 15 years’ of experience in PSD and International development. She is adept at conducting Market Systems Analysis, Value Chain Mappings, Mid and End of Project Reviews for DFID and other donor/corporate programmes in Asia and Africa. She was part of the team that set-up and delivered DFID’s flagship PSD programme, the Business Innovation Facility. She has provided strategic advice and technical assistance to DFID’s Sierra Leone Opportunities for Business Action and Private Enterprise Programme Zambia including in- country support. Chintal conducted a strategic review of the Better Cotton Initiative for IDH the Dutch sustainable trade initiative as a major funder. In addition to DFID, she has delivered multi- year, multi-stakeholder initiatives for FMO and OECD. She has knowledge and experience of working with non-financial and financial PSD/PSE programmes. Chintal has just completed facilitation of the Gender Finance Collaborative: an initiative of 15 Development Finance Institutions to meet the 2X Challenge to collectively mobilise $3 billion in gender-smart investing. She is also a senior sector advisor at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School.
